As the construction of Aotea Station continues, the City Rail Link project will close the intersection of Victoria & Albert Street from 27 June until mid-2023. At the same time, the intersection of Wellesley Street & Albert Street will reopen to through traffic with a different road layout. This means that whether you take a bus, walk, scooter or drive, there are going to be changes to how you move around this area of the city.
